National Organizations

ADA Watch

ADA WATCH is a nonprofit informational online network designed to activate the disability community to respond to threats to civil rights protections for people with disabilities. ADA WATCH educates and informs people with disabilities, disability advocates, members of the general public, the business community, policy makers, and the media regarding threats to civil rights protections for people with disabilities.

DBTAC: Mid-Atlantic ADA Center

Provides training, information, and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT) to businesses, consumers, schools, and government agencies within the Mid-Atlantic Region (PA, DE, MD, VA, WV, and DC).

National Council for Independent Living

The National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) is a membership organization that advances the independent living philosophy and advocates for the human rights of, and services for, people with disabilities to further their full integration and participation in society.

National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.)

The National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.) represents the interests of 54 million people with disabilities. N.O.D. works with business leaders, corporations, associations, and schools to improve work opportunities for Americans with disabilities. Recognizing that it makes good business sense to include people with disabilities

American Association of People With Disabilities (AAPD)

AAPD is the largest national nonprofit cross-disability member organization in the United States, dedicated to ensuring economic self-sufficiency and political empowerment for the more than 56 million Americans with disabilities. AAPD works in coalition with other disability organizations for the full implementation and enforcement of disability nondiscrimination laws, particularly the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

ADA Document Portal

The ADA Document Portal allows you to search a collection of ADA-related documents that have been produced by federal agencies and organizations receiving federal funds. This portal has been developed and is being maintained by the ADA National Network by DBTAC .
